Musicians like Kai Honasan, Peso Movement, Peryodiko, Tarsius, Dong Abay and the Tanods, Ebe Dancel, and Radioactive Sago Project plus dance ensemble Ballet Philippines graced the event. Set with a multimedia landscape, Rock Supremo is a modern look into Bonifacio’s being that seeks to educate its audience on the life lived by the hero as a young man; beautifully retold through music and dance that also mirrors various political situations. Sure it was a night of history as translated into art and music.
As Team Manila takes part in this collaboration of talent, a line of shirts dedicated to the camisa de chino wearing man was also launched. As part of the “What Are We Fighting For” collection, shirts and tote bags printed with bolo knives and KKK logos were interpreted into designs that carry the look of a modern hero. Fight and define with what you are made of as we continue patriotism in a unique Filipino style.
