No Limits No Controls with TeamManila x Pupil

A rainy Metro Manila did not stop friends and followers of Pupil in seeing the band’s latest music video for “Out of Control” last Saturday at 12 Monkeys Bar.

Together with alternative three-piece outfit Hey Johnny Wolf and indie-rock super group Cheats, the first half of the night turned into a mix of musical mayhems that made people want for more. But the anticipation grew bigger as Pupil premiered their latest music video which quite reminded us of post-apocalyptic sceneries. To cap off the night was of course a brilliant set from Pupil composed of Ely Buendia, Dok Sergio, Jerome Velasco, and Wendell Garcia who played songs from their old and current albums.

Aside from these, the crowd also set their eyes into exclusive TeamManila x Pupil merchandise which launched that night. Done in black and white, the shirts mainly took inspiration from Pupi’s post-punk sound relatively suitable for a style that defines the band’s music.
