Rockin’ Rivermaya with TeamManila

The evening was busy and the city’s traffic was all over the place yet it did not stop us from celebrating two decades of Rivermaya last October 23 at the Trinoma Activity Center.

One of the country’s most prolific bands, Rivermaya is currently composed of Mark Escueta, Mike Elgar, Norby David and Ryan Peralta with a new album out entitled Panatang Makabanda.

Kicking the celebration was three-piece band Malay fronted by former Dicta License vocalist Pochoy Labog. It was a great start for the evening as it was also the launch of the exclusive TeamManila x Rivermaya shirts. A booth within the venue was set-up as to exhibit the shirts and TeamManila’s Rock Collection.

Next up was Rivermaya who performed a set of their greatest hits including Umaaraw Umuulan, Kisapmata, You’ll Be Safe Here and 214. The band also launched the music video for their latest single Tayong Dalawa together with games and sing-alongs in which the contestants went home with exclusive TeamManila items.

The evening ended with a meet and greet with Rivermaya at the TeamManila Lifestyle Store in Trinoma. Definitely, it was a great way to celebrate twenty years of the band’s success and experience.
