Rocking the UMAK Halls with Group Study

Pencils down and speakers up for the first leg of Group Study, a multimedia campus tour that gathers Manila’s hottest bands and most creative influencers under one school roof.

Organized by Locked Down Entertainment together with TeamManila, Group Study rocked the halls of the University of Makati last June 26.

UMAK students were up for a treat as TeamManila’s Screen Machine hosted a live silkscreening session as early as 4pm. Joining the afternoon were special instructors Jun Sabayton, Lourd de Veyra, and RA Rivera who provided trivia to the campus kids. TeamManila also gave away exclusive TeamManila x Group Study shirts to chosen UMAK students.

All-girl quartet Flying Ipis opened the evening with good ol’ pop rock music followed by bands Cheats, Assembly Generals, Pedicab, Imago, and Sandwich. From rock and roll to hip-hop and electronic, Group Study sure did open the academic year right.
