The Inspiration Behind Team Manila’s Ethnic Pattern Designs

Rounding out Team Manila’s Spring/Summer 2013 Heritage Preservation Society collection are ethnic pattern designs printed on shirts, tunics, hoodies, pants and accessories. Drawing inspiration from traditional art patterns seen in native woven pieces, tribal gears, tattoos, and ornaments, as well as indigenous crafts from diverse ethnic groups in the Philippines, the collection translates traditional design to present fashion with the aim of preserving and sharing Philippine heritage and culture. The collection is available online and at Team Manila stores nationwide (TriNoma / Market!
