What Went On: TeamManila x saGuijo

The streets were busy but it didn’t stop people from joining TeamManila as we celebrated a decade of saGuijo last June 5.

The TeamManila x saGuijo collaboration launch saw the release of apparel that does not only support saGuijo but Pinoy rock as well. Featuring TeamManila’s infamous Rizal, the collaboration came in shirts, tank tops, and posters.

The small but homey space of saGuijo turned into a packed venue of local music supporters as the night gave way to amazing performances from bands Helen, Tarsius, Sandwich, Flying Ipis, Assembly Generals, Ourselves the Elves, and Cheats.

Aside from the music, a live silkscreen session by Screen Machine also came through. Designs by calligrapher Carl Chua were silkscreened in crisp white shirts also as collaboration with TeamManila and saGuijo.
