What Went On: Go Skateboarding Day

June 21st saw the annual Go Skateboarding Day which is celebrated all over the world. Skateboard communities gather in this event to express their love for skateboarding and furthermore share the passion to skateboarders alike.

Held at the PICC Forum in Pasay, Metro Manila, this year’s Go Skateboarding Day gave the Filipino skateboarding community an experience like no other. Rides, ramps, shirts, and live music hyped the whole day meant for the sport.

Skateboarders showed off some cool tricks as apparel and snack booths were present at the side. Meet-ups and give-aways also took place during the whole afternoon. Bands like The Eksenadors, Bad Omen, Pink Cow, and Urbandub provided the awesome music.

TeamManila and Daily Grind also took part in this event as both brands launched the exclusive Go Skateboarding Day shirts. Aside from tees, TeamManila also displayed accessories fit for the active skateboarder.
