It was a fun perya fiesta last Friday, Dec 7 from 5PM-12MN during TeamManila’s holiday collection launch which was hosted by Jun Sabayton. In line with the latest release, this fair-themed event was held at Suez & Zapote Gallery in Makati.
Event-goers played games, enjoyed fishballs, cotton candy, popcorn and booze for free while watching live performances from a cool lineup of performers that jazzed up the crowd. Electronic music duo Tarsius spearheaded the line up with their live beats. Pedicab followed and electrified the crowd with their catchy tunes and upbeat tracks. Hilera made us dance with their rock anthems and guitar riffs. People jived with their favorite hits from Flying Ipis.
K-Jah’s skills never seized to move people with his rhymes and beats. Toni B. gave us the feels with their soultry and soulful sound. Underground electronic artist Pamcy gave us the house beats that we need, and digital music producer Shape/Shift charged us with his synthesized ambient music. It was a full house when Peaceful Gemini provided her hip-hop prowess. Jun “Bayaw” Sabayton impressed the crowd with his funny antics and his own unique way of hosting that appealed to everyone.
As an exciting part of the event, visitors tested their skills when they tried some of the perya games that we provided. Milk Bottle was the easy one while Shoot the Ball and Bounce Ball really challenged their focus and accuracy. Mystery box prizes were given to lucky event participants and they got their first dibs on the Manila Perya collection plus other TeamManila merchandise while perya game winners received 100-peso gift cheque!
This event was made possible by Crazy Carabao Brewing Company, One Day Milk Tea, Boondocks Brewing Co., Crows Craft Brewing & Distilling Co., and Po Manila.
